TAZKIRAS BY GHULAM HAMDANI MUSHAFI (EARLIEST COMPLICATION, PUBLICATION AND OBJECTION)

Abstract

The Three Tazkiras of Mushafi: Owje Surya 1199 Hijra, Tazkira-e-Hindi 1209 Hijra and Riaz-ul-Fusaha 1236 Hijra, first appeared as a result of efforts of Baba-e-Urdu Molvi Abdul Haq. Molvi Abdul Haq edited Tazkira-e-Hindi in 1933 and Riaz-ul-Fusaha in 1934 and published them with a common preface. There was useful information about Mushafi, his times and his poetry. Some changes in their compilation have also been indicated but there is no index.
