Abstract

In the present study to determine the nine metals viz, copper (Cu), iron (Fe), potassium (K), sodium (Na), zinc (Zn), magnesium (Mg), manganese (Mn), lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) were analyzed, in six medicinal plants seeds of Cucumis melo L.var. agrestis (Wild melon), Citrullus lanatus L. (watermelon), Cucumis melo L.(muskmelon), Cucumis sativus L. (Cucumber), Citrullus colocynthis Schrad (Bitter apple), and Cucurbita pepo L.( Pumpkin) belong to family Cucurbiteacea found in Sindh Pakistan, all these medicinal plants (seeds) traditionally used in Pakistan for treatment of various ailments.
