Abstract

In the present paper the fallowing 35 fossils fungal spores are described from the Sonda Coal of District Thatta, Sindh including two species Dicellaesporinites bolharensis sp. nov. and Lacrimasporonites sondensis sp. nov. which are new species. These fungal spores indicate that the coals are allochthonous and drifted through the flood water deposited in the paralic swampy vegetation in the deltaic region.
